NetRiskScan

About NetRiskScan

NetRiskScan is a collection of free network diagnostic tools and practical educational guides. It helps people understand what an internet connection reveals: IP reputation, network ownership, approximate GeoIP information, VPN or proxy signals, DNS resolvers, WebRTC exposure, IPv6 behavior and browser characteristics.

Why we built NetRiskScan

Connection data is often presented as a binary verdict—clean or risky, private or exposed—even though the underlying evidence is more nuanced. A residential address can inherit stale reputation, a corporate VPN can resemble a commercial proxy, and GeoIP databases can disagree. NetRiskScan brings the signals together and explains what they can and cannot prove.

Tools and practical guidance

Our tools cover IP risk (the NetRiskScan Index), ASN and ISP context, proxy and VPN indicators, DNS leaks, WebRTC leaks, IPv6 exposure, browser fingerprinting, Claude access conditions and domain security. The Knowledge Hub connects each test to a guide that explains the result and suggests proportionate next steps.

How to read the results

Results may combine multiple third-party data providers, public network records and observations made by your browser. Provider databases update at different times and use different classification methods. A score or flag is therefore diagnostic information, not an absolute judgment about a person, device or organization.

Our goal

NetRiskScan aims to make network risk and privacy understandable without requiring security expertise. We publish stable, useful pages that support careful troubleshooting, encourage verification and respect the difference between privacy tools and malicious activity.
